I don't think ETH is a good investment

it's not nearly as good of an investment as BTC
but BTC already mooned a couple times

I tend to think that in a crypto bull run, ETH is going to gain some against BTC. I think we could see .05 in the next six months, possibly a bit higher on a short term pump. I mean, it got absolutely mauled in the crash and still hasn't recovered.
All of the coins I am buying right now fit this profile--the major coins that have been around for a long time and are off of their all time high by a much greater % than Bitcoin.

If you're going to make that bet, it seems the risk/reward profile is better with lower cap coins.
ETH seems, at best, mediocre in all things -- it doesn't protect you in a bear market as well as BTC, and it doesn't have the same moon potential as alts. And it no longer has ICOs to generate demand for it.
I'd rather hold BTC+alts (barbell strategy) over the equivalent amount of ETH.
