Bitcoin doesn't have the properties of a currency, nor is it being used as a currency, nor are there incentives for it to start being used as one. |

If bitcoin were being used as a currency both consumers and merchants would be ignoring it's fiat value and pricing things in bitcoin directly. This is not the case. There is also no incentive to spend since most speculate on its value rising in the future and "hodl" |
