Solana Technical Analysis Megathread

Date: April 16th, 2021 12:48 AM Author: Arousing Lavender Crackhouse Past performance does not indicate future results. However, I am providing some SOL technical analysis based on historical SOL price action to help SOL investors time their next big buy.
There seems to be quite a few posters wondering when they should enter.
Consider the last ATH and consolidation, according to Eliot Wave Theory. 18.20 was the old ATH, followed by a roughly 37% correction down to the mid 12s. The consolidation period was roughly 2~3 weeks.
If we assume this pattern will repeat, long traders should look for a similar eliot wave correction from the next local ATH. Look for a two to three week consolidation period with a 37% drop from the next ATH to open a long and another rip up.
Not saying you should trade on TA, but this is my attempt at such an analysis.

Guys, remember when I kept on calling for a retest of the old ATH of 18.20? Then, in fact, there was a flash long squeeze down to $21 instead of a long consolidation period?
Well, do the math: that's a 14.3% difference. So, in a bearish SOL scenario, when SOL whales feel enough longs have opened - during/after wherever that next big 2-3 week consolidation period is (which will inevitably occur at some point in the future) possibly, or whenever the fuck they think enough longs have opened, they will try another long squeeze.
So, $21--> $24.23 if whales try another flash long squeeze at any point before a real 2-3 week consolidation period. Don't ever think whales wouldn't suck up that liquidity at any point before the next consolidation period.
Sorry to be posting this at ATHs, but we need realistic TA to bring down the FOMO going on.

Now I see ETH getting ready to make a parabolic move up. It's been holding up extremely well against BTC and all its major coins like LINK, etc. have been looking just as strong IMO.
I would love to see SOL cool down for at least 1-2 weeks so new buyers can step in. Then when ETH cools down again, SOL makes another move up. Consolidation now would make smashing $50 that much easier IMO. |

The last big 4HR ETH dip was from 2644 to 2107, a 20.31% decrease.
This SOL dip on the same timeframe: 49.99 to 43.128, is 13.73%.
The fact that SOL has been pumping nonstop for weeks and still managed to find support at these levels, outperforming ETH on equal terms is absolutely insane.
Assume we hold the current support level. My chart is going to bring literally hundreds of millions in Samsung money into SOL once Koreans start calling me SOL TA jesus.
Conspiracy theory: is the SOL team purposely following my chart to bring more Korean whale money into SOL or am I just getting lucky with my TA? Chicken and egg problem?
