with every job having eleven rounds of interviews then giving you an offer you need to accept within a week at most, how is it possible so many people have "other offers" to leverage in negotiating salary. seems so unlikely the timing would align.

do your best to align interview cycles and lie about other offers. if you've had a vague, early screening call where you and the recruiter agreed a certain range is possible, use the top of that range (or 5-10% higher) as "an offer" you use during negotiations with other companies.

you have to go HARD and accept every HR interview you get. After a month or so it gets whittled down and you'll be in late round interviews with a few companies at the same time

outside of on-campus interviewing, it's possible to do this even without aligning interview schedules if you're applying for exact same job (eg. Customer Success Manager) at similar companies and it's the job you already have

you have to dilly dally and bullshit with the first offer on all kinds of extrenouus garbage and never respond the same day.

"I would need relocation expenses"

Hr retard responds with some generic bullshit, usually at least a day later

next day: "Thanks but this job might be out of that classification, Do you have more recent information"

Hr retard responds with some generic bullshit, usually at least a day later

next day: "Oh ok thanks"

next day: "Do you provide a cell phone?"

this can go on for months. the hr people are legit losers who would get fired from starbucks
