All that's changed is that Nintendo realized they diminish themselves by releasing Games. They want to sit back like Valve. They want to torture their fans with Droughts because it makes them all the more dedicated. Every time another quarter passes without a Game being released, it's like a blacksmith folding the Samurai's sword one more time. Nintendo fans' mettle has been forged in the flames of Lost Gens.
And if you make criticisms which basically amount to complaining about you being poor and Nintendo being rich, everyone cheers. Nintendo fans are just Liberal. They're mad that they don't spend $270,000,000k making every Pokemon game like they're fucking Ubisoft lol. They're mad that games cost money. But tell them the truth, that there are no games, and watch them recoil. Gradually I began to hate them. |

Objectively the switch 2 with backwards compatibility and many first and 3rd party titles since launch is pretty much right where the switch was at launch if not even positioned a little better.
Sure we can criticize not a full Zelda and the cost of an upgrade but really. Can you honestly tell me that breath of the wild isn’t worth 70 bucks if you didn’t own it?
You’ll get 100 plus hours out of it easy.
So it’s objectively worth the money.
Maybe some things aren’t great and I would agree they aren’t perfect and we should criticize real stuff and certainly some business practices but let’s not kid ourselves.
The switch 2 first 6 months is a good launch window.

Nintendo is releasing one a month at a minimum.
Now whether or not you like the games is irrelevant. To say they don’t have games is just not accurate.
Plus they have 3rd party support they did not have during the Wii U days.
That plus the sales of the console will create more support from devs.
We have madden for the first time on a Nintendo console in over 12 years ago. Plus a current FIFA or FC. Without it being the previous tech.
Apex was fully updated and is a great version, plus WWE 2K that works and I don’t even play most of these
These are just off the top of my head.
So come on dude. To say there’s “no games” is just inaccurate.

Shadows of the Empire
Mario Kart 64 (JP release)
Killer Instinct Gold
And it was said to have No Games. What does that say about Switch 2? |
