Like literally no war is “justified” since it’s just about idk phenotype expression, resources, whatever. But Iran has a much higher IQ than middle east shitholes so it’s awkwardly powerful in a way that means you have to Attack it from a political science pov.

Now they're coming back and extremely pro American energy. Not saying everything will work out this way (doubtful) but it's certainly not as simple as the news portrays it.

Had there been nuclear weapons restraining various actors, including ourselves, we would have had greater incentive to pursue stability, which would also funnel much more money back into the US instead of our military
I don't think there's any coherent defense for what we've done than "because we could" (or thought we could, at least), and that's not a recipe for long-term success |

A nuclear Iran would remove a ton of options from the table and likely we'd see other Arab states begin their own programs. The US must be the only nuclear power in the region. |
