It won't be yuge this year because people already in the pipeline are getting accelerated payments, but VA is trying to avoid any payments next year and beyond.
Furthermore the fund only covers certain military installations, like some airport in Uzbekistan that all the Afghan vets used at some point. Apparently there was radioactive dust everywhere at that place. But it doesn't cover the Hawaii naval base where families drank jet fuel for years
