I will say though that 9/10 songs they wrote were drivel. They had a brutally low batting average. The albums are mostly unlistenable. And then they had a fire single that blew the doors off. Kind of interesting how they weren't really trying to be great and we're mostly shtick but they just had enough monster tracks in them.

They must have just known in the studio which ones were gonna pop and put everything into that and then just threw shit together to finish the album and sell it for $19.99

i actually didnt know who korn was, i was a young kid walking around my neighborhood and one day i just saw a cd on the floor, it was really scratched but i decide to see if it worked

i listened to that cd non stop for months and loved it, i assumed it was some local band or something and was mad they wouldnt get the recognition they truly deserved as this cd was absolutely amazing

it was the korn self titled album, i learned this like 10 years later

Another underrated aspect is they had the most epic music videos. Like 99% of Millennials remember The Bullet flying through that one video. Their vids were as well known as the music which is rare. Sort of the last Gen to make cool music vids before it switched to everything being Hot Chicks on Social Media.
