Agents with multiple federal LE agencies are expected to operate in Chicago. Apparently, CPD estimates at minimum a month-long federal presence and RDOs are cancelled.
It is believed the federal govt. is erecting barracks-style detention centers at Great Lakes.
According to our source, city officials have been in discussions with progressive groups and violent protests are expected in response to federal agents enforcing the law.
CPD has instructed Patrol officers and Tact Teams to be in regular uniform and to have riot gear.
The National Guard is not expected to be deployed unless protests become violent.
