hiked to St Mary waterfall, cooled off in the stream, had crackers, pepperoni slices and cheese cubes from Wawa, played w my dog on the trail, finished "Project Hail Mary" scifi novel on Audible on the drive back passing through God’s country Charlottesville, life is good. All you need to do is get out there and do it. I am totally refreshed for a new week. You can do it! Hard work is the premium you pay for a successful life (without a trust fund which destroys your life).

Novel was Project Hail Mary. Really really good. People w imaginative and empathic capacity to read novels should read it. I smiled for an hour after the ending.

I don't have a dog, and I don't live near any mountains. It's sad.

I'll never own a dog, brother. I've got a wife, 4 kids, and a SFH in the suburbs. I can't handle any more.

Jfc it’s a dog. The joy to effort ratio is very high. Dogs are 180 and any dog will adore you if you just take the dog to national forests / parks now and again and have chill adventures w snacks.
