Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) Spirituality - Perhaps the most well-known Three Sisters tradition. Their spiritual practice is sometimes called the Longhouse Religion or Handsome Lake Religion. The Three Sisters (corn, beans and squash) were considered gifts from Sky Woman and featured prominently in their thanksgiving ceremonies. |
