IRL, this conversation absolutely wouldn't happen this way for a bunch of reasons, especially not on a Sunday. At best you would get a response that goes "this is a serious decision, and we need to discuss this with the rest of the partners. I also need to understand exactly what happened better." If they realized this was basically a political gripe they would almost certainly tell you to stfu.

You absolutely do not see this every year, because not hiring a minority associate happens fairly rarely. When it does happen, vague insinuations don't cut it - the response would follow the format above. This is ANOTHER comment that demonstrates that this flame sucks.

Also, not sure you realize this but most large firms have 100% offer rates. Texas is a different game (and that means he is splitting with another firm) but LOL @ Texas firms dinging someone because he liked Trump.
