"Dude I fell in love with Courtney. Fuck! Good white pussy."
For context Courtney was one of his gfs who lived in Glenview. I think she lived nearby him and they would do heroin together. He eventually broke up with her for the Ukrainian waitress.

"I have 100 dollars in my pocket. My mom just got me a $600 leather Diane Von Furstenberg duffel/ messenger bag the other day. I'll show you a pic when I get home. I wear the nicest shoes and clothes. So I'm not exactly broke. I work for the state as a caregiver for my father. I'm not unemployed anymore not sure if I told you that. The state approved me to act as a caregiver for my father. My father is my client. We have this special program in Illinois. I applied and went though the whole process and got approved for 15 hours a week at $10.05/hr. I'm now applying to be a probation officer. I'm going to be a probation officer and make 60k then get my masters and become a supervisor and make some real money. Put my degree to use.
Imma search motherfuckers. Be like let me search your room and your belongings to see if you have drugs on you. If I find shit I arrest them on the spot. Po's do that. It's a process it takes long to explain. Hopefully next year I'll start."

This was likely his Ukrainian waitress gf who was into heroin and Pentecostal ministry. I can't remember exactly what she looked like but I'm 95% sure this was her. Although it could have been some other chick. I'm not sure. He did have a blonde gf with huge boobs.
Edit: I think her name was Irina iirc

"The thing about YouTube is it can be a curse. You can gain a lot of popularity but forever stay within that niche because you're looked at as a YouTube star. There's several super popular people on YouTube that have never gotten any mainstream attention. I would personally probably avoid YouTube and network directly with executives. You would be surprised how many people you can reach directly if you try. But most importantly you gotta work on yourself. I was reading a Reddit thread today about how a fiction writer should be constantly writing. Like you don't just write a book and focus on trying to get that published. You continue writing and working on your second book. You might have five books completely finished before you get one published. It's a continuous process.
Dude you have to prove yourself through results. That's all anyone cares about. You can find yourself through getting immersed in the industry. Have you gotten any responses from people? What did your father suggest after you told him what you were interested in doing? Maybe you might find yourself pushed into a certain set up after you get your foot in the door. Who knows man. Dude have someone tell you what your full potential is. Dude you can do a lot of things really. The road to success usually has some falling and getting back up. You gotta work hard man stop being a lazy shit. I don't care what you say about your predisposition to laziness. You're not there already and getting lucky is a long shot. Hard work never fails though when the potential is there."

Rach,
This is Watchmen. Glad to see you back around. I wanted to send this email to you to explain some thoughts that me and another poster, Carl Spackler, have for the potential future of AutoAdmit. There are also a couple other well-respected, established posters willing to help and provide skills or investments into the AutoAdmit brand.
You know the potential that AutoAdmit has, and you reached out to the xo community for help. The thread was stickied for months. Content is king and you want to make something out the site and community. I have some serious, cutting-edge plans about rebranding AutoAdmit, improving the interface of the home page and adding beautiful but simple graphics (keeping the tree format but tweaking the site as much as we need), forming another child forum, and making a top-level, elite blog that competes directly with Above the Law. We know xo produces great content, so we could run this popular free speech blog that focuses on the best content produced on a daily basis by the posters of AutoAdmit, as well as related news. It would all be in coordination with you, and all content creators would get proper credit. Most importantly, for posters who enjoy the anonymity of AutoAdmit, we would guarantee them that their content and identity would remain anonymous. We could actually have something like affiliated posters (main content creators). The blog and improved forum would be breakthrough and I'd like to think that it would start a new era in the niche and forum style of content focused on law students, lawyers, and other professionals. Everything should probably remain mostly law focused, because the base of current posters is mostly smart, in-the-know lawyers and law students. But we would also discuss other professional fields, where we naturally have many established posters currently working in.
AutoAdmit would go fully legit. We have notoriety and have had major news coverage. No offense to these sites, but in my opinion, Law School Discussion, Top Law Schools, and BigLawBoard are posting in the Stone Age. Visually, our website might not currently appear to be modern, but that's not because of the tree format; it's the lack of good graphic design that is the problem (usability and interface need to be improved as well). By the way, have you seen Law School Discussion lately? It's a a ghost town. Like you and I discussed before, we would improve the moderating system (no more hateful speech, spammers, or problem causers, but still promote free and open speech, and become the most dominant law-focused board for professionals). Traffic would increase sharply with SEO and marketing, which will involve the rebranding of AutoAdmit. You might want to change the name. We won't deny our history, which is notable, but a simple name change could be beneficial.
Here's another thing I wanted to discuss: Our avenues of revenue are not limited to ads. We could actually create books and ebooks with top content and sell these ourselves directly or through a publisher. And of course we would generate revenue from ads and affiliate sales too. We could easily end up bringing in thousands a day from the new AutoAdmit brand and business model.
I'm interested in helping you out, and so are a few other reliable posters. I know talk is cheap, so let's make it happen. We could eventually have legit offers from people for huge amounts to sell the site. This is all after building it from the ground up, and producing great content, useful content.
So those are some of my basic plans I wanted to share with you. A lot of our posters are passionate and loyal to you and your site. When I kept seeing xo go down, it made me think about how it would be a shame that all that great content would be gone like poof.
Let me know what you think and get back to me at your convenience,
Sincerely,
Watchmen

Wmtp: I'm completely retiring from xo. I won't even open up the page, let alone login and post. I know your skeptical because I've said this before, but I bet you anything I'll follow through this time. Today is day one...
Me: Why man
Wmtp: Do I really need to explain why? It's negative and a waste of time. Everyone's lives would be better if the place was shut down.
Me: It's a waste of time if you let it get to you. Everything in moderation man. I think your problem is that you can't control yourself. If you could limit yourself to like an hour a day you'd be fine. But yeah you should def retire if it's taking up all your time.
Wmtp: That's like saying you should limit yourself to an hour of chimpout.com a day. But yeah I feel you. I'm still fully retiring.
Me: Lol wtf is chimpout
Wmtp: Some racist website.

I’d love to do something with the site. I made a mistake in the past by being so staunchly opposed to moderation in the first place, but it was because of the history of the site, and the fact that it originated as a refuge from increasingly oppressive and arbitrary moderation. I placed principle above pragmatism, and I guess that’s not the best way to build a mainstream business. I always felt bound by the past, whether it was to the stigma we acquired, the principles that gave the site its original purpose, or the demands of long-time posters who didn’t want the site to change or evolve. Basically, I fucked up by being afraid to be bold.
Anyway, let bygones be bygones. Much of the community is still intact, and the aggregate IQ is huge. There’s no reason we can’t do something with it if we don’t half-ass it. It is, however, time to come to terms with the fact that the brand needs to be scrapped in order to move forward. I personally think people would be excited by something new at this point.
If we can just make the community actualize its potential, I will be happy. If we can all make some money from it, that would be wonderful. I don’t think we’d ever want to sell it off to a third party, though. For some magical, inexplicable reason, the community just seems to be something none of us can ever quite let go of.
Let’s start planning out who could do what, and we’ll see what we can make happen. This is way more than anything I can do on my own, or even with just another programmer. There might be some people who object to BIG CHANGES, but if a lot of people are involved in the renewal of the site, that could be minimized. And besides, I think the vast majority would rather the community had a future than just stayed the course into its eventual oblivion all to appease a few traditionalists.
I could put some money into this if we need to. But first, we should probably first reimagine the brand. That is hugely important.

I'm revoking your lib card
I was looking back at our last exchanges on gchat and I was shocked to see you say that basically all muslims are suspect because in your words "normal" muslims are flying to other countries and joining terrorist organizations. It sounded like you weren't completely joking now that I look back. That's about as racist of a statement that you could possibly make, and I don't think you can even call yourself a liberal thinking things like that. Can't believe I let that one go in our discussion. That's completely unacceptable man.
I thought it was incredibly sheepish for you to have cast an air of suspicion over Muslims, even if it isn't over all of them. That's an example of not forming your own opinion. And I still find it weird how you word it that there are "plenty" of muslims who aren't dangerous. How about the vast majority of Muslims have no radical views whatsoever? If your beef is against religion you could approach it in a better way. It just sounded to me like you were singling them out man that's all. If you're going to target the religion, why don't you group it together with everything else? Anyone else would reflect Islamophobia IMO.

He sent me this email 17 days before his death. I was out of the country and never responded. I had no idea he was spiraling. Looks like it was a copypasta from an email to Rach.
"I take my xo philosophy from you, and I've learned all of your ideas behind moderation. I've taken after you on so many different aspects, and I've tried by best to approach moderation always with the protection of the sites interests in mind first and foremost. I've come a long way, and I've built up a lot of experience. I don't see the discretion I have in a negative light at all, and I don't think you do either. I feel like my discretion is an asset, because not everything is set in stone and I believe I have the right intuition to take advantage of it. My discretion should not feel like a burden to you. I rarely invoke mod powers, and when I do, I go through a checklist in my head and try to look at it from every perspective before I make my decision. If you ever have an issue with a decision I made, I'd like to learn from it. I welcome the scrutiny. Whenever someone has power it should be checked and monitored, otherwise you're not going to maintain a high standard for excellence. I don't mean to make this sound all super serious, but special consideration needs to be taken considering the nature of xo. Figuring out optimal moderation standards and rules on xo has been a learning experience, and non moderators might not understand the complexities we go through trying to balance one of the only free speech zones on the internet with moderation. That's the goal, and I try to never lose focus of that. Moderation is an apparatus we have total control over, so to have it operate at such a high level should be meaningful to everyone and something to be proud of. Xo is your baby, and since it's been given to me, I treat moderation like it's mine. I would never intentionally steer you wrong, and never operate solely on my self interests. In a way I represent this site. I represent it to you in an official capacity. And you do listen and you do ask questions and everything you should be doing. Trust is important to me, because you've expressed how you have to worry about underlying intentions with certain posters. I want that never to be the case with me."
