also everything is made in china now. even american brands are sourcing a significant portion of their components from china. and even when the components were made here the same factory could produce parts of various qualities. the same is true of chinese factories. |

You can find some good wireless speakers on the high end but I still don't trust it (and they're still a good amount more expensive). The beauty of a regular old passive speaker setup is you don't have to worry about needing to setup your speakers with a fucking app and they will last an eternity since the electronics aren't too complicated. |

KEF seems to be the most reliably recommended wireless speakers for a real home theater system but you definitely pay a premium for the brand + wireless. But if you need something that fits a room well they do look pretty SWeet. Again main concern is if I'm dropping that sort of money on a speaker system I want them to last, and you're locked in to a specific vendor's wireless speaker setup+apps and crap. There's not really a standard. |
