The biggest issues are that people don’t know how to do it.
If you have sex a second time in reasonably short order, you need to wipe it off and pee to flush it out. This also applies if you cum for any reason prior to sex.
You need to treat the cum like a poison that can go no where near her vag.
If you think you are going to cum, pull out early.
If you can work in an angle of the rhythm method, that can improve chances to avoid pregnancy.
Honestly, I think it’s people just not doing it right.
OTOH, standard BC pill use really world effectiveness is not that great either. IUD is about the only thing that has really good efficacy short of sterilization.
And a two method rule is what you should be using if it’s going to be a big deal.
