You can see all of those two towns in a day each, that’s not really the draw. But I think you’d want a couple of days each for both paddling and sightseeing on a bigger boat. Call it 3 days in each if you’re hammering out activities each day. Add another for any hiking you want to do or any overnight sea kayaking camping. There were already some good guiding outfits there in the early 2000s, so I’m sure there’s reputable places that can offer a turnkey trip. |

Picture a big day out paddling among icebergs and along towering glaciers in 40 degree temperatures that somehow feel warm in the sun. Have it on the bucket list for retirement, especially if I can hit a number that would let me buy a used Nordhavn or something and run it for a few years in early retirement. |
