The fact that society functions at all under this moral paradigm is actually pretty crazy. They genuinely do not believe that any laws should apply to anyone (other than white males) period, as a deeply held belief that defines their entire understanding of the world |

Obviously, universal equality under the law is not a concept that mud people can grasp. What matters is that they are here, and they believe the law should not apply to them, and a very large number of white people believe this too. And somehow society still mostly functions
