You probably don't know this (because the concealment efforts have been so completely effective) but China has somewhere between 40-100 large pyramids dotting its landscape, of mysterious and unknown origin.
Instead of excitedly announcing this to the world and working with other nations scientists to uncover the historical truth of the matter, they've quietly planted trees with the most damaging root systems right atop them to help conceal them from the air—and presumably, according to many (myself included), to gradually destroy the structures themselves.
Chances are excellent that you're also not aware of the Tarim Basin mummies, dating all the way back to 2000 BC, of Indo-European heritage:
tall, fair-haired, and fair-skinned, with tartan print clothing, and R1a and R1b Y-DNA heritage that clearly ties them to modern Europeans.
China has made it exceedingly difficult to dig, excavate, or in any way thoroughly examine these sites, and even more difficult to engage in any genetic testing on the mummies uncovered. Much of what's occurred so far happened due to European scientists apparently smuggling some genetic material out of the country.
Chances are even better that you've never heard of the connections of China's first emperor to the Indo-European peoples, and that scholars like Christopher Beckwith posit that China's first imperial house and 'royal' family was likely of Indo-European heritage.
The first emperor's tomb, possibly the largest ever discovered and described in ancient accounts as containing a scale model of the landscape complete with flowing rivers of mercury and a starry sky canopy above, has reportedly not been entered by a single person to this day. The Chinese government claims they are not exploring further because they 'lack the necessary technology'.. an excuse that allows them to kick the can down the road indefinitely.
Why aren't we aware of such things?
The connections of the Indo-European peoples to this region are profound, all-pervasive, and extend back over 4000 years—why so little academic curiosity?
I cover all of this, and much more, in this week's article..
