Doctor attempts to land plane. Promptly DIES; kills 2 passengers

LAGRANGE, GA. -- A two-engine aircraft crashed at LaGrange-Callaway Airport Saturday afternoon.
There were three people aboard the flight, all of whom died, according to LT. Chris Taylor.
Both the pilot and co-pilot were killed in the crash. The third passenger died after being life-flighted to a nearby hospital. The plane was co-owned by two physicians, who were on board.
The passenger's IDs have not yet been released.
The plane, which took off from Panama City around 9:15 a.m. Saturday morning, landed in LaGrange around 10:45 a.m.
The plane was then refueled and began practicing approaches and landings. As it attempted to land, there was a Civil Air-Patrol plane towing a glider across the runway, according to Rusty Miller, who witnessed the crash.
Miller said the plane was then forced to make a steep climb, stalled, and then went nose down into the runway.
