Isn't that arguably more evidence he was the best ever?

Like if you have no peers in your era that should be more impressive.

It's like comparing Dan Marino to Matt Ryan.

You mean the #3 SG of the modern era (behind only Jordan and Kobe)?

era of dominant centers. SG was always a weak position -- there's only 4 of them in the top tier: Jordan, D Wade, Kobe, Jerry West

Look at how many score-first guards there are now:

SGH, Morant, Brunson, Anthony Edwards, Brunson, Doncic, Kyrie, Donovan Mitchell, Devin Booker, Steph Curry etc.

There absolutely was not this type of offensive talent at the guard position during Jordan's era.

When you carry and travel under today's rules, players tend to seem more skilled, yes

Do you think the average NBA player was more skilled in the 1980s or now?

Do you think there were more guards with elite level ball handling and scoring skills in the 1980s or now?

Most of those play PG (SG[A]<sic>, Morant, Brunson, Brunson (listed twice), Kyrie, Curry)

Doncic is a forward

Jordan defeated way better PGs and forwards than those

So your argument boils down to Michael Jordan is extremely lucky to never oppose Devin Booker or Donovan Mitchell

I said score first guards. Your focus on the difference between pg and sg exposes you as a neophyte.
