Seems best stock for 401k since that's tax free dividend. And if we are in a bubble it doesn't drop as much as regular index.

i have 100k of it and note since downturn it doesnt seem to have recovered as much as it shld have, but i havent checked recently, im still down 3.33% even though QQQ is at ATH though im not factoring in JEPQ dividends

JEPI seems a lot mroe safe

i wld never go all in on one, wld distribute it between JEPI JEPQ maybe that other one QYLD? and value ETF and then still have some QQQ and SPY or VTI

I mean if market is in a bubble and it crashes it will crash less than nasdaq or especially tqqq. So can collect your 10% rental income and if there is a crash just sell and buy tqqq.

sure nigga but im pretty sure it still lost 2/3rds of QQQ in trumps tariff debacle, JEPI is a lot safer

If we’re talking your 401(k) you shouldn’t care about swings or dividends and just focus on growth (or preservation if you’re getting old).

Seems like JEPQ would be better for a regular investment account for someone in TT’s situation where you’re not working so you can use the dividends for living expenses.

yea nigga, i only have 100k in JEPQ and 50k in JEPI and if this spreadsheet is correct ive already made 9894 in dividends this year just from those two (out of 13906 total) so thats pretty furking epic. if i get to 1.4m and put half in jepi and jepq im minting money nigga, it will be tax prob but furk jews

In regular investment account I pay 40% dividend on jepq, so makes more sense to just buy qqq unless you are certain it will crash. In regular account i would only compare jepq against sgov. But in 401k I don't get any tax disadvantage...

If you save up 5mil you can essentially live off passive income 500k, the only problem you would be paying full income tax.. that's why people invest in underlying index instead. But seems as you approach that #, it makes it very stupid to continue working since every cent is taxed at 50%

It does seem like a better investment than sgov. And seems any "safe" dividend stocks like mcd or pepsi just don't have the growth to ever make 10%

Well no such issue in my solo 401k account and once I switch jobs that will be up to 300k.

How many years do I need to wagecuck if I make $1mln before tax now and have $1mln cash? If I'm paying 40%+ tax might as well be living in Budva on a beach off jepq..

I am working 14hr shift and yesterday and tonight... this may be unhealthy... if I work as few as 90 nightshifts per year I could create illusion that I'm semiretired. I think at 60nights/yr it really would be parttime, bit wouldn't accumulate much wealth.. but I am now switching into 190day shifts and there is no illusion that I'm far from retirement.. I know so many people who actually do have the money but keep wagecucking..
