it's still stunning how you people can just type stuff out like this as it's some "gotcha." like, you really don't even *understand* what it means to have principles.
we don't want increased migration because we think it'll be bad for the country. if you could guarantee that we'd win every election for the next 20 years if we adopted this stance we still wouldn't do it. because the *point* of getting elected is to accomplish policy goals. doing a 180 on that defeats the whole purpose. |
