I've been hearing for a while that Chinese servers have ten times the players that Western Classic realms have and, more importantly, the Chinese LOVE pay to win and being able to show off their money to their fellow players.
Blizzard/Microsoft is obviously raking in huge cash from China, and, in something completely unprecedented, their Devs just said their focus for the next year would be on this new Titanforge Realm available only in China. US and EU Classic players can eat a dick.
I know you guys are as upset about this as I am, so I encourage you to write your congressmen. Hell, even Trump himself should get involved. |

Ping isn't an issue anymore we're in the New Reality now, it's all fiber everywhere even China. And I dunno about you but I speak Chinese and everyone under 40 in China speaks English anyways so it's nbd

The stunning thing is that Blizzard is prioritizing China over the US and EU for the next year. That is completely unprecedented, and I see no reason to think it won't continue if reports of Chinese players paying hundreds of dollars for store-bought mounts is true.
We're living in a new world. |

But it doesn't, so they don't
The funniest part of this imo is how much the Chinese adore classic wow, which is such an implicitly and really almost explicitly White virtual world, composed of White characters and White culture and White interpretations of fantasy, myth, meaning, etc
It's par for the course - Chinese people love and respect Western history and culture. It reminds me of how they build replica historical European cities and neighborhoods and cosplay as historical Europeans for fun |

The whole medieval Western world of the Alliance is the main thing that attracts me to WoW. Whenever I take a break from the game, all I have to do is walk into Stormwind and hear the music and catch the vibe and I'm drawn in once again.
That's just what happened to Xaryu this week- he was playing OSRS but couldn't stay away:
