Fed Court about to rule on TRO blocking Trump tariffs

Date: April 21st, 2025 1:59 PM Author: big glassy senate Court of International Trade about to rule on TRO sought by 5 small businesses. From there it goes to COA for federal circuit then to SCOTUS. It’s seems likely Trump will lose since IEEPA doesn’t grant POTUS the authority he’s using to do tariffs. Markets will moon the moment the TRO is issued, even if it's stayed pending appeal. Chief judge of CIT assigned the TRO to a 3-judge panel (this is done when a TRO request raises significant constitutional questions). The 3 judges are an Obama appointee, a Reagan appointee, and a Trump appointee
Govt has to file a response by end of business today
