(i) the test is dumbed down due to DEI. they took out analogies and keep making it easier
(ii) 20 years ago only the truly elite schools prepped kids for the SATS (and then these NE private schools acted like their kids were geniuses). Now even middle class kids in Alabama have parents who are paying for college counselors. |

A score of 1350 would typically fall around the 93rd to 95th percentile. This indicates a very strong performance relative to test-takers of that era.
Recent SAT (2016-present)
Scale: Revised 1600 scale (Evidence-Based Reading & Writing + Math) A 1350 now corresponds roughly to around the 90th to 92nd percentile. |
