I end up keeping a little cash in my money market, which also has a great yield. The downside of the MM is that the interest is not exempt from state tax. My state requires a certain minimum percentage of US treasuries for the interest to be tax exempt and none of Fidelity’s core positions for MM meet the threshold. |

SPAXX has good yield but US treasuries aren’t a high enough percentage of their holdings, so I still have to pay state tax on the interest. |
