The weirdest part that still doesn’t quite compute is why non shitlibs just shrugged and said “well ok if you say so” in response. This was the real point of failure in our system even if shitlibs deserve the blame for the outcome and the consequences of it because they instigated and agitated so much. But I do think cons need to appreciate that there were a few things going on. 1) the rest of the country was very tired of Trump’s bullshit. There’s no way this would’ve happened if the electoral prospects of a sitting POTUS running for re-election were wildly undermined except that the public had grown to expect weird shit to happen while Trump was POTUS and for TDS shitlibs to get away with overreach. 2) related to 1) it shows that Trump was a stupid pussy who couldn’t defend himself. The same goes for Mueller and Russia collusion and Charlottesville and like 50 other things. The purported political professionals and experts around Trump especially should be ashamed of their performance in this regard. Anyone charged with helping to re-elect Trump who saw those 24/7 drive thru voting lines and didn’t immediately file an injunction is retarded and sucks at their job. 3) the cost of all the idiotic nonsense that Rudy and Sidney Powell and the Turner Diaries LARPers on Jan 6th and all the rest of those dipshits who were around Trump is that they have massively *helped* shitlibs avoid responsibility for all of this. They are the reason we haven’t had a basic and simple discussion about a basic and simple fact: it is absurd that Joe Biden got 12M/15% more votes than Obama ever got in any election. There ain’t no fucking way that this happened without something going wildly off course in our election system.

We need to fix what broke immediately and the fact that Biden was elected under those circumstances massively undermines his legitimacy and should mean we greatly constrain his powers and options as the “POTUS” until we have another election that is not as blatantly shady. If Meatball Ron had just said this from the beginning he’d be POTUS in 14 months, but sadly it turns out he’s not very smart or good at being a politician.

Extremely online people like the XO poastertariat are not going to get this fully, but for most people Trump’s efforts to tweet his way out of trouble are harmful to his long term interests. Best case, people think he shouldn’t waste so much time online or they fixate on weird turns of phrase and his jokes and insults. What’s worse is when his need to be the center of attention in his response comes off to some people as defensive and makes those people subconsciously buy into the idea that the shitlibs must’ve had a valid reason to attack him.

But the response to the election was 100x worse than Trump tweeting because instead of just Trump tweeting he handed the response over to Rudy, Sidney and Bannon to run the kookiest plays they had in their playbook. They played right into the media’s hands with their bumbling ready fire aim approach to everything they did. That’s why no one bothers to question Biden getting 81M votes because Rudy et al made the “questioning the results” side of the debate look literally retarded.
