You can have sub-36s on several sections and still get a 36 overall. The accommodations game is known to everyone now and there are way more ADHD/ADD/Anxiety diagnoses than even a few years ago that give 1.5x to 2x time on all sections (with any experimental sections removed). Test prep is also more useful and widespread than at any point in the past.
All of the above combine to give you this phenomena. |
