I can't quite tell what the trial was about. Candace seems to suggest that Macron's defamation action was narrowly and cleverly drawn as to avoid alleging "I am in fact a biological woman." instead Macron nit-picked on 18 collateral points in the journalist's coverage. At least that's what I think Candace is saying.
If that's true, it's not quite the case that the trial established that Macron was a trans woman who'd been born as a man -- unless one assumes that the narrow allegations are a tacit admission, which isn't an unattractive inference. But i could see narrow allegations to avoid the unseemliness of DNA tests or cross examination on such personal issues.
If ten years ago you'd have suggested that the FOTUS of France was a biological woman it would have been unthinkable. but in this fucked up world it's more like, "yeah, sure, why not?" |
