-anti-political bias mandate, as previously reported, is very good
-lots of deregulation, very good
-calling for open source models is interesting. this would be great but obviously the big players aren't going to be open source. i like that they are recognizing the importance of AI for small businesses though
-there's actually some stuff about funding AI training and rapid retraining for workers displaced by AI. this is good in theory but i'm always skeptical of the government throwing monopoly money at things
-robotics and drone focus is 180 and cr
-using public resources to build curated datasets is 180
-pushing adoption of AI in government is great in theory but would involve firing millions of dead weight paycheck stealers which will never happen soooo yeah
-the section about AI in department of defense is lol. maybe start by firing all the chinese and indian nationals first
-***********LAWYER ALERT************ they're going to come up with "objective legal standards" to determine if evidence is deepfaked or not ljl good luck with that
-tons of stuff about facilitating power grid expansion, all good
-build more data centers and semiconductors here, sure
-more stuff about training the american workforce to work in both AI directly and in building physical infrastructure for AI and power generation. this is actually really good
-a bunch of stuff about AI and foreign policy aimed at Containing China. dude, half our AI scientists are chinese. this shit is just so silly man
all in all i think this is Great and it's a good sign that the government is taking the AI Age transition seriously
