The unfortunate reality is you can't convince these people to behave reasonably. They're just going to keep acting like they're fighting existential jihad forever. Whenever someone gets really blue pilled to the hilt they're done for, they're going to wish death upon their enemies forever. They literally espouse the claim that only they have a monopoly on truth and that history will justify them millenia from now as always having been right and everyone else was wrong.

So it forces cons into the awkward position of not only having to disagree vehemently with the other side but also to constantly take the high road for the sake of stability of the nation.
