i know why "voters" "vote" for mayor pete. i just get super triggered every 4 years by the "election" because it's such a stark reminder of just how stupid and clueless normies are. CNBC had a stat last night about how ~50% of new hampshire voters hadn't looked at who to vote for until the last couple days before the "election." there was a published poll a few days ago that 2/3 (!) of democratic voters aren't planning on voting for a candidate that "shares their principles and values" (lol), but rather "one that they think can beat trump." yeah.
democracy is just so repulsive to the soul of anybody who actually thinks or cares about the world or society. it's a tacit admission by society at large that they don't even fucking care about themselves as a cohesive unit, or even see themselves that way. that all they are is a collection of atomized units fighting and clawing with each other over scraps in a zero-sum contest of who can get an unfair edge over everyone else
