Our valuations are just dumb ("oooh, this fart app is worth $4.3 billion because it leverages AI to fart!") while in China they will say "this building is worth $30 million" because, that's what it is worth. Maybe it is only worth $28 million irl and many will say "omg, inflating valuation!" Meanwhile, the $4.3 billion fart app is worth almost nothing.
