My relatives who are buckwild shitheads with their money are constantly going on cool trips, doing fun stuff. My parents have been very conservative with their upper middle class income and... never do anything interesting. Never really buy anything cool. Eat at moderately priced chain restaurants and spend $10k in cash on some home/lawn improvement or w/e.
Only exception is if you're being responsible AND plowing the extra money into money-generating stuff that can snowball and eventually liberate you from the grind. |
