You know Dan you read the OCI interviewer reports and this guy seems like a slam dunk for Dechert. But as you know I have a heavy ground presence at UChicago and I have sources telling me some troubling things about Vikram's lunchtime outside lecturer attendance. There seems a real pattern of attending "public interest" lectures, especially focused on the plight of the third world poor. This is going to go far beyond the prescribed pro-bono vision of most firms, and I imagine it is something Dechert is struggling with as the clock dwindles down. Don't be surprised if we see a last second trade at this spot, Dan.
