Yes, there's a ton of beautiful spots in AZ. Especially compared to somewhere like Texas or something. Just within driving distance of the Phoenix metro, there's the Mogollon rim and the Tonto natural bridge. In the metro, the Superstition mountains are beautiful and have a ton of great hiking. |

we also get snow where i live and we have world class skiing
last time i went hiking in AZ, they told me we were going to a "mountain" and it turned out to be some tiny, barren hill

i'm concerned the mountain west will end up the same, but we rely heavily on tourism and skiing as well (winter olympics were held here), so i think the $$$ interests will incentivize politicians to protect our resources |

i guess that's one benefit of the tariffs and a degrading economy - people less likely to have as many kids. also less pollution because china isn't exporting as much stuff.
honestly, and this sounds bad, but i wouldn't be opposed to having a one child rule in America - the world is overpopulated and too many poors are having kids as it is. |

So it seems very aspirational to go live in a death place, an empty place, barren of sound and life. A place of blazing light and complete darkness. Live in a fucking shack and do not speak for 90 day spells, just stare at fraudulent horizons and know that if anyone approaches, you will see him for two hours. Walk out at night into complete blackness and punch your dick, make noises, weep. |
