Talking to my daughter, today’s tribes are fuzzier.
It seems there are less rigid labels which is interesting.

The cliques were most clear cut in late middle school through prob 10th grade. Once kids hit 16 or 17 they mature a bit and there's a blurring of the social lines. |

That’s more of a middle school thing. Lower Cliques are invisible to Higher Cliques the further out you get.
