Or anything else that requires a 1-2hr appointment during the day? Don't want to take a day off for any minor bullshit. With evening or overnight work never have to worry about this..

most men in my office haven't gotten a haircut in 5-10 years, conservatively, for precisely this reason.

I'm serious worried about switching from. 122nights to 190days.. I mean I could do an occasional late start at 10am if I need to get an annual physical, etc. But is daytime actually worth working 40% more hours for same pay(I do 10hr shifts now and it will be 9). My goal is to work less not more

No such thing in medicine. In my current job the best I can do is leave exactly when my shift is up so I don't actually work extra hours for free. In day time job I can try to take a 1hr lunch break during the day to decrease the freebies. "Overtime" is just getting a 2nd job for another hospital and and the primary employers hate that because then they don't get free overtime.

I gave this as an example. I mainly go there to do annual blood tests, which no one will collect outside 8am-4pm. But many other errands like lost passport, etc also have only limited banking hours.

That's what I plan to do with everyday lunch. I.e. go to the gym or beach for 30mins, then get lunch. Effectively cutting my workday from 9hrs to 8. But anything more would be noticeable. And any business errand requires more than 1 hour. I guess I'll just do occasional 10am-7pm shift.. they certainly will not mind if I do2hrs of evening coverage without extra pay..

I actually get most of my haircuts abroad now since I travel often enough with 7on/14off. With 38weeks of mo-fr I still expect to travel every 6 weeks..

Question for lawyers: if contract says 190 days per year and in person we talked about 38weeks mo-fr. Benefits include "6paid federal holidays". Does it mean I actually work 184shifts, i.e. those 6 days are "paid for", or they can make me work extra in place of those holidays?
