is this like klarna or something? is our society now just a few rich people, tons of welfare cases and a bunch of people in the middle who are financing their electric and water bills by borrowing funds?

Yea i think thats accurate. the bill is $6k. we have a 10 year old sedan and i really don't want to buy a new car. he said you can pay with cash check credit...or have you heard of AFFIRM? i applied for got approved for and set up auto payments in under 2 minutes.

How are they making any money on a loan that i pay off in six months and don't pay any interest on anyway?

my guess is they rope you in with that "no money down!"

shit and assume you're going to go off on a spendign spree with other shit and find yourself in debt up to your eyeballs in jewish interest payments.

you are using it the tcr way, assuming there's no hidden bullshit in there.

$6k on a 10 year old car is some shit man, what was wrong

1) They charge the merchant fees

2) They sell the data

3) They bet on a certain number of failures to make payments, then charge fees and interest.

also they rape you if you miss a payment.

but why even pay it?

what exactly do you think would happen in that scenario? so i dont pay, and the bank with the loan sues me and gets a judgment saying that i have to pay that plus interest plus attorneys fees. then the bank gets to subject me to post-judgment enforcement and gets turnovers of my bank accounts.

meanwhile i end up paying 4x the amount of the original balance and my credit goes to shit.

The no interest pay in four option makes sense for one time purchases or entertainment options in the future. But there people who pay in four for all their expenses, recurring and non-recurring.

the 15% or whatever Affirm keeps from the total is factored it into the price you were given by the shop. Zero interest isn’t free.

places that offer 0% financing typically don't have an upcharge for taking advantage of it. meaning the cash buyers subsidize it. this is the same reason anyone with sense pays with credit cards for everything.
