They win a once in a lifetime trip to Disney World they'd never afford in a million years and they waste an entire day because the autistic midget son can't decide which hat he wants to buy from the gift shop. And then the girl gets her prom dress drenched in nacho cheese while picking up her date from the convenience store he works at. It's supposed to be a sitcom, but I find it extremely depressing. Maybe the middle class liked the show because seeing such a pathetic family made them feel better about their own crushing credit card debt and their jailbird sons and daughters addicted to painkillers.
