This study says they do,mainly because men like young women and hair darkens with age usually so men associate hair that is dark for their population (subjectove "lightness" might range from platinum blonde in Norway to light brown among African Americans to dark brown in India and China, places where almost everyone has jet black hair) as indicative of youth. |

in fact when i see some woman with died light blonde hair and it turns out to be some old hag, it actually annoys me. feels like she was running a con.
