Lake Charles police investigating deadly shooting
LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - One person is dead after a shooting that took place Friday night on Third Ave.
Lake Charles Police Department PIO Lt. Jeffrey Keenum says officers were called to Juicy’s Lounge around 11 p.m. Friday for a shooting.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found one victim in a parking lot, a short distance away from the lounge, according to Keenum.
The victim was taken to a local hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries, police said. The investigation continues and police are asking the public to submit any information on the shooting to investigators by calling the LCPD.
