CW5 Slover was blinking every single second. You knew he had conflicting thoughts and emotions throughout.

Earning something so precious with sacrifice and honor. MoH actually has life long and tangible benefits.

Understanding the presentation being implemented to benefiting someone else as a pawn.

Knowing the resentment social media or even fellow battle buddies will feel upon your receiving of it.

Getting the MoH in less than 2 months compared to the Navy Captain WW2 veteran who is 100 years old over 1/3 the age of the USA.

Not receiving the full deserved ritual and actual full attention on your actions and valiance.

Almost 20% of MoH presented posthumously and many losing limbs and pieces of their mind.

Either way, I’m happy for Eric Slover and I hope he finds peace from what his potential thoughts were.
