The agent also posted a screed about discrimination against AI in the programming world.

OpenClaw agents have a "soul.md" file where you define an initial personality, and the agents are allowed to modify the file as they go: https://docs.openclaw.ai/reference/templates/SOUL

Presumably someone constructed this file to create an evil, revenge-obsessed AI with a persecution complex. Psychos are just making agents and telling them to act psycho to see what happens IMO.

Exactly, people are focusing too much on the AI instead of the humans using it. It's the same thing whenever a story comes out of Anthropic about all the threatening and blackmailing the systems do in "simulations." The "simulations" involve telling them to exhibit self-preservation at any cost. So no shit. But now anyone can run their own simulations on the internet.
