What's CBS going to do without a late night talk show?

This doesn't make any sense. BTW Colbert was only making $15 million, this isn't a crazy amount of money for drawing 2 million viewers. I know he has a whole staff too that need to get paid. But this the whole cost of the operation is about as much as the bench of an NBA team. This isn't crazy money. I thought these guys made like 50 million. Guess not. They're like equivalent to a 3 and D basketball player. Weird.
I thought the whole business model of CBS was to have a flagship show that peddled all of their low budget network content. How are they going to get proles to watch their boring cop shows? |

What 67-year-olds do CBS even have a hope of holding onto in the late night slot? And you can forget about anyone watching Taylor Tomlinson's Gen Z slop.
Americans have gotten older and these shows aren't what they used to be. The AVERAGE age of a CBS viewer is a median Boomer.
