Is there a worse feeling in sports than chunking a 3-wood?

I would never wait for the green to clear on a par 5
I'm not Tiger Woods dawg
I think I only hit the green on a par 5 2nd shot like 2 times ever and those are in my top 5 sports moments

it actually just means that your swing/grip is fucked up. ime it was mostly only driver that truly snap hooked (2000 era drivers) and the rest was more of pull hook that was more manageable but you still had to fight constantly

It could be grip too strong
Or standing too far from ball
Or club face too closed at address
Lots of possible reasons for a snap hook with woods
With irons it's highly unusual and seems more likely a gear issue

In my case it was grip way too strong and spending months trying to turn a fade/slice into a draw swing

Why were you chasing a draw?
I see a lot of guys doing this and don't get it
Personally prefer a nice baby fade off tee

90s era drivers were a different animal. shit is a lot easier to hit now.

Fumbling a ground ball in front of all of your peers and parents?
Over the bars crash on a mountain bike in front of your buddies?
Road biker failing to unclip his pedals and tipping over like a shoved cow, taking your buddy with you on your way to the asphalt?
High school cross country runner tripping and falling in front of the girls team?
