Date: September 2nd, 2025 8:27 PM Author: ass cheeks ((zurich is stained)) it hasn't helped. but what happened was i had nothing in biglaw, but stole $800k in biz. then i went back to jackson lewis, which was an awful mistake but i only stayed there about a year. i actually stole two of their little clients and went to this midlaw firm. i was the only labor lawyer there and for reasons i won't get into, i wasn't on board with some of the shit they were doing so i left for this "boutique" firm and i took all the labor stuff from there. beyond that, i have like $500k in clients i've originated from clients recommending me to other businesses.
i'm a client thief, i guess. i should do more biz dev to find clients, although stealing them seems to be going well.
if i wind up having a consistent $2m book, i will make around $900k once i make equity. not bad. not counting on that size book tho, i had some stuff that was super busy this year, so i assume it'll be quieter next year. but still on track to have a pretty consistent $1.2m or so (which is like $725k under this firm's equity formula). |
