I thought that the arcade TMNT was better than SNES although close
I would say Contra (like you), Super Mario Brothers, Bionic Commando, Punch Out. There is an argument that the NES Double Dragon was superior to the arcade version, although I can see both sides here (the GBA Double Dragon version was the best of all IMO)
SNES: The Ninja Warriors (had three characters instead of one) (love this game by the way, its awesome)
Genesis - MERCS (love this game, an all time fav), Golden Axe were better on the Console
Dreamcast - Soul Caliber was supposedly better on the Console, but i never played the arcade version
