Right now Brent at $101/barrel, which is well below what it was at times last week. This shows that imposing Iran-specific oil sanctions or blockades doesn't cause the price of oil to skyrocket. Fear of it doing so is what caused Trump to previously allow Iran to sell their oil. Given the modest market reaction to the blockade, I see no reason why Trump won't continue it indefinitely. |

something is not right. dated brent quoted $131 last friday. that is a huge gap. next week, brent crude and vix are going to spike if kharg happens. |

The George Bush carrier group has destroyers loaded with missiles that can intercept missiles headed to Israel. I think that is the major reason for the ceasefire.
