Chicks didn’t care of course.
The jocks/athletes/frat bros loved Armageddon bc it was one of the few movies with a star cast that was still funny, 180 and had a good storyline. Also sort of brought to light the fact an asteroid can end earth. Amazing music, can be watched multiple times.
Then you had the incels/nerds/“men” with backpacks who would jump and lisp that Deep Impact was more accurate and scientific despite no one remembering or wanting to watch it more than once due to how boring it was. |
